Art Voice: Messages of Hope to Support Haiti
March 2 to 9, 2010

In response to the recent earthquake crisis in Haiti, the Grade 6, 7 and 8 students of Captain R. Wilson Public School are hosting a social justice themed art show titled “Art Voice: Messages of Hope to Support Haiti” for the community of Oakville.

Students will be auctioning their artwork via a silent auction that lasts for the duration of the show. Highest bidders will be notified of their purchase by email on the evening of March 9. Purchased artwork can be paid for and picked up at the museum from 1 to 9 p.m. on March 10. All proceeds will be given to World Vision Canada to provide relief for families affected by the recent earthquake disaster in Haiti. Please show your support for this exciting community event and significant cause by dropping by the Oakville Museum to view and bid on the diverse pieces available. We look forward to your partnership and enthusiasm!
